FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Downside Up Recordings Announces DUR-R005: PS11 – Stratos EP
Downside Up Recordings is proud to present DUR-R005, Stratos EP by PS11, a five-track journey through hypnotic rhythms, atmospheric textures, and precision-crafted groove.
The EP opens with the shuffled pulse and razor-sharp synth stabs of "Stratos," immediately establishing the record's unmistakable identity. "Mile High" follows with powerful peak-time energy, while "Mid Point" introduces an uplifting yet forceful break that adds another dimension to the release. On the B-side, "Mariana Trench" balances bouncing percussion with expansive, hazy atmospheres before "Timble Snake" closes the record with warped synth elements and an atmosphere of mounting suspense.
For Downside Up Recordings, this release represents more than another catalog entry. PS11 is an artist the label has admired for many years. His body of work consistently reflects a rare purity of vision and an unwavering commitment to pushing his sound forward. Rather than following trends or chasing fleeting moments, his catalog has always evolved organically—refining a distinct artistic voice while remaining deeply rooted in the underground. That level of authenticity made him a natural fit for the label's philosophy.
Every aspect of Stratos EP has been produced with the same attention to detail. The record was mastered by João Temudo, whose transparent and dynamic mastering approach has become synonymous with quality contemporary techno, with artwork and layout by Cut Forms and manufactured at Onyx Press in Los Angeles, ensuring the highest standard of vinyl production.
With Stratos EP, PS11 delivers a release that moves effortlessly between hypnotic functionality and emotional depth—music designed not only for the dancefloor, but for listeners who appreciate craftsmanship, subtle evolution, and timeless techno.
DUR-R005 – PS11 – Stratos EP continues Downside Up Recordings' mission of presenting artists whose work values longevity over trends and substance over spectacle.
